Wireless Backhaul Network Design

Wireless Backhaul Network Design requires line of sight connections among a variety of sites, and Micronet has developed web-based tools that can provide profound insight into the backhaul possibilities that exist for any given array of site locations.

In the example shown here, an array of sites have been identified in the Washington, D.C. Metroplex by Customer X as being of interest for wireless services. The primary concern is whether or not a backhaul network can be established.

In these screen images, it is apparent that the Micronet backhaul network analysis tool provide this insight through generation of *.kml files that run on Google Earth.

As the user tilts the image and zooms in, logical hub sites appear based on the number of line-of-sight connections that can be achieved with surrounding sites.
